We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization. Open to all mediums. very intriguing use of colors!! the overall tone of the picture is very warm, yet there's such a huge contrast from the waist down (and some of the arms) where the colors get cooler--ice cold! she looks like she's going blue from cold. the musculature in her back is just gorgeous.
a couple crits... her elbows probably would look like that, but it doesn't mix well with the softness you've created in all her skin tones. those circular wrinkles are distracting and disturb the flow her skin creates. her hands could be better, they seem pretty flat and don't look too real, and there's a lump on her left arm that doesn't make sense.
overall very nice! just great.. love it
